Rich

Congratulations and thank you for stopping by and posting.

It has been my experience that many join this business with starry eyes and a get-rich-quick mentality. In fact, I think the opposite is true; Network marketing is a get rich slowly type of business.

As in life, you'll get out of it what you put into it;

I also believe that successful leaders have skills that some of the other members have not yet acquired. The true leaders take the time to acquire and master the skills required to become leaders.

Thanks again for stopping by and please come back as we release new content.

Hi Mark;
Just a note to say thanks for your article--I found it truthful and honest from my 20 plus years building an Amway business. As a professional engineer married to a nursing instructor, we found our lives with 2 kids very busy, stressful, and limited. Knowing nothing about this industry and no experience in working with the public--just a desire to make our lives better--we got started with help from our upline. After a few years of diligent, part-time effort, we were able to quit our jobs and enjoy our business, new friends, travel, money, and lower stress. One of the major dissappoints has been the common misunderstandings of this truly amazing business that is built on integrity. Thanks for providing a great explanation and trying to set the record straight!
