What is attraction marketing all about?
One of the principles of attraction marketing is that People HATE to be "sold to" but everyone loves to buy.
The days of high pressure selling and in-your-face marketing are over.
As we evolve into the information age, consumers are savvier and smarter than you think.
We also know that another core principle is: people will do business with those that they know, like, and trust.
So this begs the question; how do you get someone on the internet to know, like and trust you?
Attraction marketing is simply branding yourself as an authority and allowing others to learn, trust and get to know you.
Before attraction marketing, old school network marketers typically taught and emphasized to work a warm list and introduce your business venture to your family members or friends.
From my experience, this often led to mixed results.
Some were amused and entertained.
Some got excited.
Some weren't interested.
The problem with this methodology, in my experience, is not that you are doing business with family and friends…..I've launched some of my biggest ventures with my closest friends. The problem, in my opinion, is that new marketers don't know how to listen.
Attraction Marketing uses a system to build a constant stream of interested prospects. To implement this type of marketing plan, a marketer begins by offering valuable information to their prospects, which lays a foundation to establish an identity as a leader.
By implementing a system that allows your prospects to get to know you and trust you. This also allows a prospect to move at his own pace, consuming your information and building trust along the way.
You are no longer wasting your valuable time dealing with people who have no desire to join your business. Instead, the people you talk to are well informed and ready to move forward with your opportunity at their pace.
A website that allows a leader's personality to shine through to a visitor, assists the prospect in obtaining valuable information and builds the leader's credibility. This type of website is a far more effective means of developing a relationship than a standard company's replicated website.
And that, my friends is the key to any type of marketing.
When you can get your clients, customers and prospects to make their own conclusions, choices without you interfering, you will begin to see the magic take form.
