Are you a preacher or a leader?
Donald Trump said " When we want to do something we find a way, but when we don't we find an excuse."
Most people do not accept personal responsibility for what they want. They tend to blame others, circumstances, and conditions. Blaming makes us feel better, but it does not solve problems.
What happens to us when we allow someone or something else to determine our circumstances?
We give up our personal power. The power to make decisions about our own lives, and to control our destiny.
Are you a Leader or a Preacher?
Do you have what it takes to be a leader in your business? It’s important to distinguish between the skills of a preacher and a leader.
For example a leader leads 'in front' of the group.
When leaders speak, people listen.
Preachers may talk a great deal, but not everyone is listening to them. They're making a speech and they're flapping their lips, but their legs are not moving.
I once heard at a seminar someone put it like this. There are 3 types of people in business.
1. The one who sits on the sidelines and says, "it can't be done."
2. The preacher who says, "one day, he's going to get it done…"
3. And The leader who is truly getting it done.
The first people lives in fear and in the past.
The 2nd person lives in the future.
The 3rd person lives in the present and takes massive action.
A preacher speaks but may never lead; A leader has qualities that that make people listen to them.
A leader leads without fear of being criticized or without facing discouragement.
In short, a leader should possess qualities like humor, strength of character, maturity, patience, wisdom, common sense trustworthiness and reliability. So tap your hidden potential, develop a positive self-image and motivate yourself
The choice is yours.
